SPECIALTY RUNNING RETAILERS PARTNERING WITH AETREX WORLDWIDE FOR MARATHON INITIATIVES
Teaneck, NJ October 25, 2007 - Aetrex Worldwide announced today that it is forging partnerships with specialty running and athletic retailers to create a comprehensive resource for runners and athletes and ultimately help them perform at their best. The partnerships are in conjunction with local retailers in markets hosting marathons during the 2007-2008 season.
Aetrex, pioneers in applying pedorthic expertise to high performance footwear products and technologies, will partner with the Baltimore Running Company at the Marine Corp Marathon. Together they will host a booth at the Marine Corp’s Health and Fitness Expo held at the D.C. Armory in Washington, DC October 25-27, 2007. Aetrex will offer runners an opportunity to have their feet scanned using its iStep digital foot scanning technology, which instantly identifies the runner’s individual's foot type, pressure points and shoe size, and then recommends the most appropriate shoes and foot orthotic products.
